NPower Update - Names Are Ready Candidates Will Be Contacted This Week





The 200,000 young Nigerians selected as N-Power Teachers, Agriculture & Health workers will start work on December 1, 2016. Their names have now been sent to State Govts and FCT for deployment to specific assignments.

The names will also be published this week. N-Power Participants will start receiving notification SMS from Monday 21 Nov 2016.

Please note that this batch of 200,000 N-Power beneficiaries is the FIRST.

Recruitment is an ongoing process; there will be other batches. In total, N-Power will engage and train 500,000 young unemployed graduates. It is a paid volunteering programme of a 2-year duration.

The 500,000 N-Power beneficiaries will be expected to exit after two years to economically viable job and business opportunities. Participants will be provided teaching, instructional and advisory solutions in the focus areas, and paid a monthly stipend of N30,000.

The 4 main focus areas are in basic education, agriculture extension services, public health & community education (civic & adult education).

The Federal Government congratulates all 200,000 successful applicants in the first batch. They are implored to serve their communities with dedication.
