The Grammy Award winner John Legend publicly defend his wife Chrissy Teigen after her infamous wardrobe malfunction at the American Music Awards, gushing over her look and putting the blame on the photographers for pouncing on the racy shot.
In a post-show interview, he reveals that he's "totally brushed it under the rug! It's all good. Obviously, the photographer had to get the exact perfect angle,” he said . “If people are enticed are excited by that then I guess that's their thing. It's just a moment in time that was captured on film.”
The singer said he had no qualms about Chrissy wearing such a racy dress — in fact, he said he “loved” it and thought it was “great.”
They even had a test-run before the show to try and avoid something like this happening! “Honestly, we were worried there might be that moment,” he admitted. “So we checked it, we were watching her walk and everything. I was like, ‘It looks good! It looks like all is well.’ But obviously if a photographer is resourceful enough, they can find that moment.”
As mostly everyone has seen by now, the supermodel's high-slit dress swept to the side while she was walking the carpet, revealing everything underneath while the cameras were flashing.
Luckily, she's had a great sense of humor about the whole time, even jokingly comparing her look to that of a Family Guy character and hilariously apologizing to anyone who was “mentally or physically harmed” by her “hooha.” LOL!
