We lost The Game because South Africa Team Played With Charm And Witchcraft

Over the weekend, South African football team, Mamelodi Sundowns became only the second club from that nation to win the CAF Champions League after only losing 1-0 to Egyptian club Zamalek in the second leg of the final. The Egyptians had lost 3-0 in the first leg in South Africa.

But according to the chairman of Zamalek, a
Mortada Mansour, the only reason his team lost was because of magic and sorcery.

According to the chairman, he said ‘Is it natural to waste 18 chances in front of goal? Things were obviously not normal and there was magic and sorcery involved.’

Over the years in continental matches, it is usually the North Africans that have been accused of utilising dirty tricks to win matches, so this represents a remarkable reversal.

The Zamalek chairman however did appreciate his players’ efforts. ‘All of the players and their coach were men today and we missed Gods reconcile. I thanked them after the game for their manly performance.’

Nigerian striker Stanley Ohawuchis goal in the second half had given the Egyptians hope but the South African team held strong to claim their first continental trophy and entry to Decembers Club World Cup in Japan.

It is not clear whether Zamalek would be appealing the result of the match to the Confederation of African Football or the Court of Arbitration of Sport.
